As Human Resources Manager , you will assist in strategic human resource initiatives designed to drive continuous improvement of Human Resource and facility metrics. In this role, you will maintain maximum service levels for the entire HR function in support of core business goals & objectives, oversee compliance of all corporate driven policies, procedures, programs, processes, and laws relating to HR, and provide strategy and focus in the areas of recruiting, training, and employee relations.
Assess, coach, and develop the facility leadership team
Assimilate incentive employees to our pay for performance program
Engage employees in our Community Involvement program and events
Manage the facility HR team; develop departmental budgets, objectives and systems in line with the overall strategic goals of the facility
Ensure excellence in HR compliance - identify risks and develop plans to address gaps while implementing a systematic approach to maintaining compliance
Develop and maintain relationships with the staff, regional leadership team, and corporate support partners
Interpret policies and practices; managing FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, EEO/AAP
Investigate questions and/or complaints; resolve employee relations issues, using each complaint/issue as opportunity to understand the root cause and develop a plan to resolve the root cause
Drive innovation in HR functions and processes
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Five or more years of Human Resources generalist and/or manager experience; PHR or other related certification a plus
Experience managing Human Resource functions, proactive employee relations, training and development, EEO/AAP, Recruiting and Selection, HRIS, or policy administration preferred
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing, high production environment preferred
Proven ability to think through situations and act accordingly
Proven ability to work through ambiguity
Capable of acting independently
Able to integrate with local management, lead a staff, and drive business results through Human Capital Concepts
Demonstrated accountability, critical thinking, and responsibility for independent judgment and successful outcomes
Must be able to occasionally work irregular hours to fulfill duties and responsibilities of position due to multiple shifts
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
Ability to partner with managers and employees to positively impact business results
Excellent leadership and ability to drive change
