As a Human Resources Business Partner , you will be responsible for providing HR support to a department or location. This includes performance management, leadership coaching and training, employee engagement, employee relations, and progressive coaching support.
You will work both strategically and hands-on to deliver results for the business/functional groups. An HR Business Partner engages the resources of the broader HR organization to enable the execution of this strategy, including leveraging the functional expertise and resources of the Centers of Expertise (COE’s) and HR Operations Center.
Implement HR programs that support the business objectives and key performance priorities of the business unit
Partnering with Supervisors and Managers, serve as a trusted advisor on any people, organizational, or capability implications of our business strategy
Coach and advise Supervisors and Managers on talent development and performance management
Support key HR initiatives including talent management, training, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and salary reviews
Participate in the annual talent review process and partner with Supervisors and Managers to create Individual Development Plans
Coordinate HR and Company initiatives that enhance engagement, performance and retention (e.g., company surveys, community events, recognition)
Manage and resolve employee relations issues
Depending on the complexity of the business you support, HRBP may also provide administrative and operational HR support to a business unit, such as new hire orientation, supporting time and attendance systems, maintaining employee files and bulletin boards, coordinating company initiatives like surveys, community events and recognition.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field required, or equivalent work experience
3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist
Working knowledge of Human Resources related laws & regulations
Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and influence Supervisors and Managers
Strong internal and external customer service focus
Drive to deliver outstanding results across the organization
Effective communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively across divisions, functions and levels
Project management, analytical and organizational abilities; ability to use data to inform insights
Ability to identify and handle priority and/or sensitive issues with discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality
