Position Overview

The Accounts Receivable Rep III - Contract Compliance will analyze and interpret customer contracts, and maintain resulting conditions in customer master file data to ensure correct billing. Also responsible for generating reporting and analysis relating to customer compliance for stakeholders, and managing and improving the process ongoing

Description

  • Set up new contracts in company's Oracle contracts database and complete all necessary maintenance on existing customers, includingAnalyze and interpret contracts and convert conditions into activities and deliverables that exist in database, including various discounts and rebates, and identification of approvers/limits when adjustment is earned/required. This involves creating a contract grid of itemsLoad contract grid into databaseGain approval of database activities/deliverables from all relevant stakeholdersConduct interdepartmental meetings to resolve deliverable responsibilitiesLiaise with legal department to resolve contractual questionsActivate contracts

  • Resolve all unapproved adjustments

  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis documenting customer contract set up information and activityUsing excel and/or pre-built reporting tools across various systems

  • Provide system user training for departments using the contracts database across all levels of the organization, including large-group presentation format

  • Assist customer set up team with customer maintenance in Mainframe system as necessary

  • Participate in contract compliance audits as directed by managementPerform full contract audits on standard contract template agreements

  • Validate data loaded to Oracle Contracts database ongoingDevelop methods of contract validation for standard attributes, e.g. expiration deliverables

  • Carry out ongoing assessment of customer contract set up processes and make adjustments as necessaryContribute to ongoing IT enhancements to the contract moduleDocument all customer contract set up procedures

Skills

  • Specialized Knowledge :

  • Special Skills : Demonstrated proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems and software (e.g. AR/AP/GL package) preferred
