As an Account Executive, Food Service Sales , your primary purpose is to be the single point of contact for specified customers to increase profitable market share growth through increasing top line revenue and gross profit dollars. Manages and develops sales strategies and objectives to gain market share and profitability with existing and new customers. In coordination with Procurement, the Account Executive will plan, develop and implement our Company marketing plan.
Establishes and maintains communication/customer relations with current and new customers.
Maximize and manage sales and gross profit with customers, using the C&S programs combined with the AE’s individual knowledge and experience in both restaurant and wholesale that will result in increased revenue and gross profit dollars.
Responsible for developing, planning, implementing, reviewing, updating, achieving and refining the Company overall Foodservice revenue, gross profit and shrink goals.
Individual restaurant visits, weekly, monthly and quarterly to assist the customer in achieving and maintaining a business relationship with C&S. This will include problem solving, negotiating, development of programs while developing a long term partnership between the customer and C&S. This will also entail completing quarterly business reviews that will identify the customer’s long and short term strategic plans and how to incorporate these plans into C&S goals.
Creates new sales strategies in conjunction with the Company marketing program and coordinates with Procurement and Merchandising departments on marketing plans, new items, customer requirement, movement projections, customer requirements, etc.
Education (Minimum Needed): High School.
Experience (Minimum Needed): 5-10 years wholesale or restaurant management experience.
Specialized Knowledge Needed For Performance of Job: Understanding of all technical and managerial restaurant functions. Wholesale knowledge.
Special Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Time management, negotiating abilities, problem solving, interpersonal relationships, financial (related to restaurant PNL’s).
Other: Computer skills, presentation skills, ability to travel and flexibility. Must have driver’s license.
