As a Chain Sales Account Executive , you will manage the relationship between C&S Wholesale Grocers and Tops by coordinating and integrating C&S and the assigned customer's business strategies to achieve maximum sales and profitability for both C&S and the customer.
Develop process, procedures and programs that will drive sales growth and reduce expenses for C&S and the assigned retail customer.
Work with all levels of management to identify, create and influence programs that will result in profitable growth and reduced expenses.
Understand and manage associated budgets and identify opportunities to improves profits.
Work closely with customer to resolve, track and measure inventory issues, such as Excess Ad Inventory, Discontinued Inventory, Dead and Excess Inventory, Short Coded Inventory, and slow movers.
Coordinate regular weekly meetings with customer's senior team to provide business updates on sales, gross profits, service levels, inventory results and ad performance.
Assist C&S and retail customer in budgeting process by having a thorough understanding of case movement and provide insight and feedback on current and future trends.
Continually review and identify opportunities to modify, automate, and streamline existing business processes to find more efficient and effective ways for both organizations to meet their business objectives.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Three or more years' experience in similar role.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Analytical skills are crucial.
Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and team playing skills.
Ability to communicate, influence, negotiate and interact with all levels of management.
