Job Profile Summary
Partner with Operations groups to assist in creation of financial models and analyses to support various operational expansion and improvement initiatives for the company. Provide additional support for budgeting & forecasting and compilation of adhoc analysis.
Provides strategic business partnership to Operations leadership and manages large operating and logistics programs with the goal of continued improvement in profitability and controls Manages all aspects of the financial planning and reporting cycle including budgeting & forecasting financial accounting, management reporting and performance analysis Prepares analytic models for senior management to support strategic decision making in areas of network optimization, mergers & acquisitions, business expansion and efficiency.
Develop financial models to present new business/volume realignment opportunities for the companyAssist operations group to develop analysis to support proposal; ensure correct representation of financialsPresent proposal to Operations senior management and finance partners
Assist with due diligence analysis for potential mergers and acquisitionsDevelop financial analysis based on insights and provide to C&S senior management to assist in decision making
Assist Operations business partners in evaluating potential savings projectsWork with Operations to create Return On Investment (ROI) analysis for ad hoc projects.Conduct post audit of selected projects - run analyses after project implementations to ensure savings are effectively realized in Operations P&L
Support Operations Finance in operational Budget/Forecast assumptions by providing new customer and volume realignment pro forma assumptions
Assist Finance in compilation of ad-hoc financial analysis to support different management groups throughout the company including, Operations Senior management, Business Insights, Legal and Corporate Development
Document all procedures and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with them
